As many know, I’m a huge Seattle Seahawks fans. I pitched the 12th Man mixtape to Joe Tafoya and Kerry Carter with Volume 12 – they were thrilled with the idea and gave me the go-ahead. After weeks of planning and perfecting, this is the result: the ultimate tailgate party mix. #BringTheNoise and GO HAWKS!
“My approach is to be unselfish as possible” says disc jockey Tony Schwartz. Keeping people happy on the dance floor is his motive – and Tony’s ability to mix across multiple genres has proven to be a winner time after time. Seamlessly slipping in and out of rock, hip-hop, country, oldies, pop, classic party tracks and the occasional “Oh, no he didn’t!” surprise record from out of left field, Tony keeps it simple – just play good music at the exactly right time.
Influenced by national talents such as DJ Scene, DJ Spinbad, DJ Jazzy Jeff, The Captain of Industry, DJ Reaction, DJ Phase, and of course the late DJ AM, Tony began his DJ career on late night college radio. Within two years, he was performing at top nightlife and private events throughout Seattle and its surrounding areas. In 2014, he performed before 25,000 people at Watershed Festival with Tim McGraw, Kip Moore, and Cassadee Pope. From opening for DJ legends, to working alongside local and national celebrities, to spinning for Fortune 500 companies, local celebrities and discerning brides and grooms – Tony has built a solid reputation as a reliable party rocker with creative programming and solid DJ fundamentals.
When he isn’t in his studio recording mixes for his podcast, researching for that “I totally forgot about that one!” hit song, practicing new routines and combos, or rocking another party with an electrifying mix, DJ Tony Schwartz is following his favorite sports teams, the Seattle Seahawks and Boston Red Sox, entertaining his bulldog, playing slow pitch softball, or reading on the subjects of personal finance, life and fitness.
